easy access to parks and attractions for weekend strolls

I loved how close Milham Park was, just over 3 km away, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely afternoon walk among shady trees and open spaces. plus, the vibrant Kalamazoo Valley Museum, just over 5 km away, offered a fantastic way to explore the local history at a relaxed pace while being able to return to the comfortable hotel for breaks in between.

Here's my point of view

My stay featured extremely friendly staff who made me feel welcome. The room, while snug, was equipped with clean bedding and a solid air conditioning system. The breakfast selection was satisfying too! But waiting for rooms to be prepared left something to be desired. Overall, a decent experience for a comfortable stay.

The hotel was clean with stylish decor! The comfy beds and numerous hooks for hanging made our stay pleasantly easy.

Check-in was frustrating. it took ages, and the breakfast choices left much to be desired! Silent but poorly managed atmosphere echoed disorganization.

Great Family Stay with Minor Snags

We enjoyed our 2-night stay in a Standard Queen Room, perfect for our family. The kids were disappointed we couldn't stream movies on the TV, as it wasn't updated, but they made do with cable. Pro tip, double-check TV capabilities before purchasing streaming rental!

Great spot for a family getaway

Room was spotless , very comfortable beds and excellent breakfast options. The green approach for soaps and the layout of the bathroom made it easy to use and feel nice. Plus, the gym facility was great.

It wasn't cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

When we got to our room, it was spotless. I really appreciated the way they had the green soap and shampoo options in the bathroom, real nice touch! the breakfast? Great! Lots of healthy choices and delicious food, like I was drugged into eating extra bacon! Even saw a gym that could actually make you sweat.

Not gonna lie, it wasn’t exactly cheap, but for the quality, it’s acceptable.

The room was super clean and comfy with a private bathroom and great shower. It had a hearing accessible feature, hairdryer, TV, and iron handy. The fitness center was nice for a quick workout. Breakfast was awesome with a variety of healthy choices and delicious options. Really impressed with everything!

The king room was clean and the location convenient for our needs. However, we were initially given a different room type than what was booked, and the linoleum flooring could use some rugs for comfort. Overall, a decent stay, great for short visits.

The staff was generally friendly, and the location was perfect for attending events nearby. However, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with noticeable stains on the towels and unfortunate issues with the shower. It was also disappointing to have to wait an excessive amount of time for the room to be ready upon check-in. Overall, while the event location was convenient, the experience at the hotel itself wasn't very satisfying.

I enjoyed my stay at AVID Hotel. The room faced the highway, yet it was surprisingly quiet. The staff welcomed me warmly, and I appreciated the eco-friendly approach to toiletries. While the cleanliness could improve, the comfortable bed made up for it.
